Homework 16.04.11

"I have to admit there was a tear in my eye as I watched her sink under the water and swim out beneath the silvery arms of the rippling moonbeams."
From what I can infer, it must have been nighttime.

"We all crouch down at the starting lines. 'I'll wait for you at the end, wimp,' jeers Sam 'That is if you get there at all.'
From what I can tell, Sam is cocky and confident.

"I rushed upstairs and took a bunch of celery out of the fridge. Pinky finished it off in ten minutes flat."
From what I can understand, Pinky was very hungry.

Homework 19.04.11

La Carnivale was a great unit and I enjoyed the Carnivale today!
When we were in the dragon, parading around the Junior school, I felt very calm and not one bit nervous AT ALL!!
6JAK were first and we did our music, usually I wouldn't be on time for my part, but this time I was ready.
Then we did our dance and it went perfectly, although a few people still weren't saying "A Zeeba".
Thirdly I got changed into my Jazz costume and was getting ready, some of the people in my group were going over the steps, but I felt pretty confident on my dance.
After our Jazz dance Jacob J told that we didn't do it all properly, but I don't think any one in the crowd could tell the difference.
Then we had some recess and then back into the dragon and into La Carnivale!!!!!
When we did the class dance, some more people started saying "A Zeeba".
Eventually, after I got changed, I felt a weird feeling in my stomach, I was nervous!! I think it was because my parents would be here.
After the dance my knees started to shake at,like, 20,000 hertz or something!
We had lunch and went into the dragon one last time.
When we did our dance, I could hear "A Zeeba" loud and clear! Everyone must have been saying it!
I guess I was tired, because I started to make mistakes in the Latin dance.
Finally, I did the Jazz dance and I don't think I made any mistakes.
La Carnivale was AWESOME!!!!! I had a lot of fun.

The mystery of the haunted mansion:
Once upon a time there was an old house on top of the highest mountain, and nobody has lived there for over a hundred years, the people that used to live there were the Portart family, they moved out because of this weird sound and things kept on going missing.
But one afternoon there was a little boy named Tim, who was nine years of age and lived with a family of four. His mother, father and three year old sister, Kate. They were the new family in town. Tim was a boy that got in to a lot of mischief and decided to go for a walk and find some friends while his family unpacked.
Tim went to the local park, but there was nobody there, so then he saw this big hill with a house that had a big black gate around it and all crows flying around and it looked really old and falling to pieces, but Tim didn't care, he just wanted to check it out. So he went up there. Five minutes later, Tim got to a rusted, squeaky, tall gate. he was a little scared but he went in, there was all sounds of bugs and screeching all around. Tim got through the front door and it was wide open with a big spider web on it and a big red back spider. Anyway, Tim kept on going he hadn't had enough yet he walked in and there was no furniture, there was only some broken glass and some planks of really old wood lying around, Tim walked up to a stair case that had all holes on it and walked up stairs. On his way up he seen a big sign on the wall in green saying ''help me''.
